Pre-Delivery Instructions For Outdoor Waterfalls

Thank you for choosing Stone Cactus for your new waterfall system. Before your new feature is delivered, we have listed several things for you to use as a planning source to assure your installation goes smoothly. Limited setup includes the following outline, additional charges may apply beyond this base. Call us at our office for more information.

  • Power: Your new stone cactus pump comes with a 5' power cord and plug rated 110 v 45-100 watts. If needed, cords can be extended up to 15' for an additional charge. Optic and up lights use a 110v transformer located at the end plug, lights are 3 watts each 12 v. DC. Lights can be added to an existing low voltage lighting set in place of the transformer plug end. We use an extension cord to dig and test systems unless permanent electrical is near recommended electrical setup by the GFCI receptacle with a weatherproof cover. Timers or remotes to control the feature should be outdoor rated with multiple plugs if needed. All pumps are plug-in, removing the plug end voids the pump warranty.

  • Water: Drip line hook up- we include up to 6' of 1/2'' poly from the float connection to your 1/2'' polyline, if needed, the polyline can be extended for an additional charge. Please locate where your 1/2'' poly line runs.

  • Waterline hooks up If you’re going to run a waterline use a 1/2'' PVC line with an in-line ball valve, and stub the PVC pipe 3'-4' from the waterfall center. We provide a 1/2'' PVC slip connection at the end of a 4' flexible hose from the float. We will adjust the float and test all systems after the sculpture is set. We need someone home to test the irrigation system to help confirm active lines are used. We only use 1/2'' sizes for PVC and polylines, other sizes or copper connections cannot be connected.

  • Lines: Extended electrical and water runs do not include trenching, covering, or burying of the lines

  • Area: For in-ground systems, the dig area should be free from tree roots, irrigation piping, utility lines, rocks, old fountains, or any other obstacles that delay a normal dig. For interior access or placement inside, please move any furniture, a plant disk to protect the floor under the pot is recommended.

  • Access: We need at least a standard 36" gate for access, let us know if there are any steps if the sculpture is in a raised planter or if there is another construction being performed in the area. Please provide gate codes or any special entry requirements.

  • Completion: Customer can cover the lids with rock, use a 1/2'' - 3/4" size, should be washed and placed on lids until lids are covered approx. 2", it's best to cover the lids right after your set up.

  • Our installation crew can only focus on our "work at hand" and they are not available or permitted to solicit any additional work. Special needs or concerns related to your installation should be addressed directly through our office.

We do not remove rocks, dirt, brush, bricks, concrete, or any construction debris.
